QuickBooks, connected to your firm.
Start in PlaintiffDesk, choose the right QuickBooks Online company, and review how your accounting data is used.
Start with your firm
Sign in with your PlaintiffDesk account and open your firm’s Accounting Portal. QuickBooks setup is managed by a firm global administrator with access to that portal. You will also need an administrator of the QuickBooks Online company you want to connect.
If Accounting Portal or Connect QuickBooks is not available, ask your firm administrator to confirm your access and whether the integration is enabled for your firm.
See the connection stepsReview before you send
Choose the correct QuickBooks company during authorization. Back in PlaintiffDesk, review the connected company and the account and field selections available in your firm’s portal before using any accounting transfer actions.
Start with a small, reviewed transaction and verify it in both systems. Connecting an account is not a substitute for checking your firm’s accounting configuration.
Keep case records in PlaintiffDesk
Use the integration for the accounting information your firm needs. Do not include health records, protected health information (PHI), privileged case documents, or unnecessary client details in descriptions, notes, or attachments sent to QuickBooks.
Check the company, accounts, amounts, and field selections before sending any data. Do not assume that connecting imports or synchronizes every record.
Change your connection
To revoke PlaintiffDesk’s access, manage the app connection in QuickBooks Online. You can return to PlaintiffDesk to reconnect when you are ready.
